Morning & Evening Daily Protection Adhkar
Explicitly established in Quran or Sahih Hadith as ruqyah/protection for this exact matter.
Say, 'He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent.'
Say, 'I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which He created, And from the evil of darkness when it settles, And from the evil of the blowers in knots, And from the evil of an envier when he envies.'
Say, 'I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, The Sovereign of mankind, The God of mankind, From the evil of the retreating whisperer - Who whispers into the breasts of mankind - From among the jinn and mankind.'
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'In the Name of Allah with Whose Name nothing can cause harm on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing' (three times morning and evening, nothing will harm him).
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'He who halts at a place and says: I seek refuge in the Perfect Word of Allah from the evil of what He has created, nothing would cause him harm until he moves from that place.'
How to Perform / When to Recite
After Fajr and after Asr/Maghrib, recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas three times. Also recite three times: 'Bismillahil-ladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shay'un...' and 'A'oodhu bi-kalimatil-lahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq'.
Important Safety Note: Ruqyah is a means of seeking Allah's protection and healing; it does not replace medical care. Never hang amulets or go to fortune-tellers/sorcerers.
