The foremost prophetic Sunnah for shielding the household from devils and corrupt jinn is regular recitation of the Quran, especially Surah Al-Baqarah. The Prophet ﷺ stated that Satan flees from any home in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.
Sahih Muslim Sahih
لَا تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ، إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْفِرُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي تُقْرَأُ فِيهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ
Translation (EN)
Do not make your houses as graveyards. Indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.
How to Perform / When to Recite
Recite Surah Al-Baqarah regularly within your home or listen to it with your family. Enter the home with the remembrance of Allah (Bismillah) and offer the Salam. Purify the residence from statues, images of animate beings, and un-Islamic distractions.
