Suppressing Anger and Dispelling Satanic Whispers
Explicitly established in Quran or Sahih Hadith as ruqyah/protection for this exact matter.
Uncontrollable rage and malicious impulses are direct incitements from Satan. The Prophet ﷺ instructed anyone experiencing anger to immediately seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil.
Sahih al-Bukhari Sahih
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Translation (EN)
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed.
How to Perform / When to Recite
When anger strikes or satanic provocations are felt, immediately recite: 'A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir rajeem' (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan). If standing, sit down; if sitting, lie down; and make wudu with cool water to extinguish the flame of anger.
Important Safety Note: Ruqyah is a means of seeking Allah's protection and healing; it does not replace medical care. Never hang amulets or go to fortune-tellers/sorcerers.
