Prophetic Advice & Supplication for Marital Peace & Harmony

A valid prophetic supplication for life needs, clearly labelled as dua rather than ruqyah.

Important Notice: This is an authentic general supplication and spiritual advice, not a specific ruqyah. There is no 'magical ruqyah' to resolve marital strife. Sowing discord between husband and wife is Satan's most favored corruption (Sahih Muslim 2813). Resolving discord requires mutual patience, upright conduct, avoiding suspicion, and earnest supplication to Allah for love and tranquility.

Sahih Muslim Sahih

إِنَّ إِبْلِيسَ يَضَعُ عَرْشَهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ سَرَايَاهُ فَأَدْنَاهُمْ مِنْهُ مَنْزِلَةً أَعْظَمُهُمْ فِتْنَةً يَجِيءُ أَحَدُهُمْ فَيَقُولُ فَعَلْتُ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَيَقُولُ مَا صَنَعْتَ شَيْئًا قَالَ ثُمَّ يَجِيءُ أَحَدُهُمْ فَيَقُولُ مَا تَرَكْتُهُ حَتَّى فَرَّقْتُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ امْرَأَتِهِ قَالَ فَيُدْنِيهِ مِنْهُ وَيَقُولُ نِعْمَ أَنْتَ

Translation (EN)

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Iblis places his throne upon water; then he sends out detachments (for creating discord); the nearer to him in status are those who are most notorious in causing strife. One of them comes and says: I did such and such thing, and he says: You have done nothing. Then one comes and says: I did not spare so and so until I sowed the seed of discord between a husband and a wife. The Satan goes near him and says: You have done well.'

Quran 25:74

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

Translation (EN)

Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.

Sahih Muslim Sahih

لَا تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ مَقَابِرَ، إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْفِرُ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي تُقْرَأُ فِيهِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ

Translation (EN)

Do not make your houses as graveyards. Indeed, Satan flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.

How to Perform / When to Recite

Cultivate mutual patience and fulfill marital obligations with benevolence. Recite Surah Al-Baqarah at home to repel satanic instigations. In every prostration and after obligatory prayers, sincerely recite the Quranic prayer: 'Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yun' (Surah Al-Furqan: 74).

Important Safety Note: Ruqyah is a means of seeking Allah's protection and healing; it does not replace medical care. Never hang amulets or go to fortune-tellers/sorcerers.
